Location: Mauston, Wisconsin		Yes- that will protect you from electrocution. However, it will not likely stop the low level shock's. The only way to do that would be to have an electrician rewire the circuit to a solidly grounded 3-wire/3-prong circuit. Of course the National Electrical Code would require him/her to install a 3-prong GFI receptacle.
