| I have a similar problem with a nearly-new 15 hp Merc that I have. I've had it in under warranty 3 times and on my own buck two times. No one can seem to figure it out and Merc Customer Service has been useless. All they can seem to tell me is that the "warranty has expired". Ya I know that....
So Steve, you brought up a point that made a lightbulb go on. None of these guys that have tried to fix it ever wanted me to leave the tank. And, no, the bulb doesn't stay pumped up. Could that be my problem. A bad line or primer bulb?
