Location: Willoughby, Ohio		Well, the Optima I use for starting (and everything else but the trolling motor) is well into its 5th season. I've had it go dead on me twice over the winter due to small electrical shorts. After a good recharge, it has always come right back to full power. ARe you certain the battery is dead and not just discharged?
