I checked all the obvious things as we were praying for the minkota to make the mile or so journey back. Kill switch was in the correct position. Motor was in neutral, ball was firm, there was a good connection with the battery. What I got as a response from the motor was, It would crank and turn over but it did not sound like it even thought about wanting to start. It seemed almost exactly like it was out of gas, which it wasnt. It is oil injected by the way. After speaking to a friend of mine he thought it may be something with the ignition. Any thoughts?
