They are all making a good boat these days...but if memory serves me right, and it doesn't seem to as often at 40 years old...the 1760 is $9,000-11,000 less than the Ranger right? (Worrall, you would probably know better than me) I am running the Tuffy 1890, and I can tell you, the hull is fast, the boat handles BIG waves, and has one of the biggest decks, if not THE biggest deck for a boat of it's length.

As Brad said, the 618 doesn't have the high sides...
