| Thanks guys, that's what i needed to hear.
I considered the Suzuki, but since it will be slightly underpowered, in addition to being a heavier engine, and I added a battery to the back when I changed to a 24 v system. I'm afraid that might be asking a little much from a hole shot perspective.
I also have rigging and controls for the Merc all set up, so that should be a smoother transition.
Also, up in Canada last week we had a motor problem, and was able to bum spare parts off a buddy who ran the same motor. Not the main reason i'm leaning optimax but it is something to consider.
I read your post in regards to the Opti vs Suzuki and found it helpful. That being said, I dont think you can make a bad choice with either. | |
