Location: north west wisconsin		mine does that sometimes too SOmetimes the battery termanils are just loose enough to cause a short and it dont work and some times i have to switch the switch... a couple of times to get it to come back on i agree with everyone check the easy stuff first you can rip the whole pedal apart and trace the wire it might be a bad connection or a loose wire
