I've been using a Perko switch for many, many years.. Google Perko switch and you'll get plenty of info on it. You can select which battery gets the amps while motoring to your next honeyhole. Only draw back to the Perko switch is it's large, cumbersome size. I installed my under the rear deck by the batteries. I run one starting batt and 2 trolling motor batts in parallel.
