Is it worth it? If you don't want to have two antennas on your boat then yes it is worth it, if you are buying new units it's definatly worth it as you can buy one unit without the GPS puck and save $150.

Are there any problems? None that I have ever had. You can also hook it up with NEMA0183 which just uses the wires already on your units and does not require the NEMA2000 wires and "T"s.
