The e-tec is a great choice of outboards. I have a 115 on my Magnum, and I have no complaints. It uses very little oil when it's set to run xd-100. It is dependable, very quiet, and extremely responsive. I am sure that the other manufacturers like Mercury and Yamaha build a very good outboard as well, so it just comes down to preference. The performance from the e-tec will not disappoint you!!!
