I would say the Tyee if you are going to be out on the big water most of the time. For me, I am going for the 1800 Pro-V due to me fishing 5O and some lakes in MN and northern WI that I don't think the Tyee would get in or fit down (as the second turn at 5O). Both are great boats. Plus, I had a 1775 Pro and out on Michigan in waves, it was sometimes a little difficult to crawl around the boat in rollers to get to the back of the boat, the low gunnies....good fishing!
