Deep cycle batteries are engineered to sustain a long, slow draw, and to sustain a long, slow recharge. By forcing a quick charge on a deep cycle (from an altenator for instance) I feel that either:
1) the deepcycles wont take the charge fast enough to make it worth it or
2) it will accecpt the charge and comprimse the battery, shortening its life.
I'm no rocket scientist. Maybe there is someone in the battery industry that can shed more light. |
