| I think the new deploy release on the new V2 Powerdrives work on the previous versions. These work really good, as you push down to release, and it also pops the TM off the rests. Check with your local Minn Kota service center. For those in SE WI, that would be Ed Schilling in West Allis. For everyone else, it's probably worth your while to make a trip to have Ed work on your TM's. He's the best.
Also, make sure you give if a good pull back when you release the collar, while pushing the shaft forward. | |
