Location: So. Illinois		Will it cause any problems to hook up a fishfinder to the motor starting battery. Is there any chance any damage will occur to a fishfinder if it is on when the boat motor is cranked? I have a friend who told me not to connect a fishfinder to the cranking battery because he blew out his finder when he cranked his motor. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
