I had interference on my last boat with the 111 and an X-51 up front if I was in 18-20' or more. It was not so much that I couldn't interpret the sonar, but I'm used to it. If you want to eliminate the interference, use a dual freq transducer on the 111, and set it to 50KHz. The front will be on 200KHz. You won't get the same performance from the 50KHZ, but you can always switch it when you're using the back one only.
