The way I used to figure trade value was retail times .75 and that would be the trade $$$. $20,000 retail would bring $15,000 in trade. I believe that most dealers are about the same in that regard. If the dealership subscibes to or pays for NADAs online service they can get very accurate trade numbers by geographical area as well.
