I would say you can get a really nice rig for that price that will do what you need.

I happen to have an alumacraft Navigator 165 which is wide (90 inch beam) and deep (36" bow depth). It takes a 90hp motor maximum and has plenty of room for a kicker.

Easy to rig electronics, and plenty of space for most of your stuff.

I've had mine in 4 foot waves with no problems...Anytime you get that big of waves, trying to stand and fish will be an issue in any boat, but I never felt I was in any trouble being in conditions such as this...

I picked up mine in 05 for 15K Motor was a 2 stroke, which is nice, and it is not that hard on the checkbook either.

You could also look at the classic 165 which is a bit narrower and is rated to 75 hp. Definitely a good rig as well with lots of space.

There's plenty out there that will do the job. keep looking and one will come your way.
