Location: WV | Installed 8 tite lok tracks to gunnel. I can then "insert" different types of rod holding mechanisims, as pictured. (downrigger, rocket launcher for planer boarding, single downeast salty, or the arm you see with two downeasters, which has an oval base you can rotate about 30 degrees which allows you to better run a "down rod". This type of system (as does bert's and pursuit) allows you the flexibility of putting any mechanism in any of the 8 tracks and better yet removal at the end of the day. You can install on gunnel of boat that has existing "custom cover" because it only sticks up about 3/8" or so. Another plus is that rod holders are not in the road trying to climb in and out of the boat or in the road if you are pleasure riding with family. If you have any questions about this set-up, you can talk to me at the Chicago and Columbus muskie shows. (cant load pic wanted, too big, here's another)
