Subject: RE: chargers

It was a general question. I have seen chargers in catalogs that state the 12/24. I am awaiting a 55PD. It will run off a 12 volt system. I will start with that. I do not know yet how much I will drain off the Everstart. It is a new battery, a 27 series. I was looking at getting a charger that could do both setups. Is there such a charger out there? An onboard charger is new territory for me. I have read the archives on this subject. On fellow says don't expect full recovery in the morning if you only have 5 amps per bank( If the batteries are really down). I was looking at a Minn Kota charger. The charger I have now is a portable that you clip on the battery, which is ok for a single. I just want to save climbing in the boat every night, to clip it on. An onboard would make it much simpler, it's already there. Thanks.
