Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water		You do not need muffs with a new Merc. They got a fitting that hooks up to your hose, that feeds into the water supply. Still, though, being it is a new motor, I had mine done for like 60 bucks by an authorized dealer, so that warranty would not be an issue.
