I have mounted the transducer on my 1890 and I get a good reading, I have it on the passenger side hlf way between the 1st and 2nd strake I guess if thats what you call them.

Anyway my issue is that I get a mist coming up from the transducer and at WOT it sucks back into the boat, now i have the full windshield, so at 60mph the windshield I would suspect creates a vacuam or vor tex sucking the mist back into the boat getting the inside of the boat wet.

I slid it up a bit more so I am going to see if that helps?

So where do you guys mount the transducer on a Tuffy?

I suppose I could slow down?? No way
