Location: Stevens Point, WI		Do you fish a lot of big water with lots of wind? If so, go with the 60" otherwise if you stay on smaller lakes the 54" will do you just fine. I run a 54" maxxum on our 18 footer does just fine but once in a great while the wind gets a little carried away and I do a little bouncing but otherwise 54" shaft does all I need.
