Thanks for all the replies. Cabelas offers some 50's whereas the local dealer goes to a 55. Saw in the brochure that a 17 footer is the max for a 40PD. Dealer said it was more than enough. I doubt I will keep the 30 transom on the boat at all. Thanks again.
