Curly tail. My 24 volt trolling motor requires me to hook the pos to one batt, and neg to the other with a jumper. You sure that is a 24 volt motor? I was always thinking about hooking my boat motor to one of my trolling batteries, and just might, good point. Get rid of some weight in my rig. Not sure why advised against.
