Subject: Evinrude DI


I am looking at a used boat with an 2000 Evinrude 90 DI. I've never dealt with a evenrude in the past the dealer is bragging it up but I thought this was about when evenrude and johnson had troubles because of the quality of their motors. What do you guys think of these motors? This one I'm looking at doesn't have alot of hours on it and hasn't been overheated or over 6000rpm so that stuff all looks ok but what is the history of these motors?
