I don't pay much attention to who services Yamaha's, so I won't be much help on that. Perhaps Ed's or Mr Outboard? RPM at WOT is how fast does the motor run at Wide Open Throttle. That motor should turn nearly 6000 RPM, I believe, when you are at full throttle, and trimmed out for max speed. The hole the motor is mounted in determines how much of the lower unit is in the water when on plane. If it is mounted all the way down, or in the top hole, it is possible the motor needs to be raised up a hole or two. A good dealer can help you with this.
