I have a 1700 Angler SS with a 90HP 2-stroke and I get 36MPH by myself with a 1/2 tank of gas and three batteries in the boat.
You should certainly get more speed. I talked to a guy on Crow this year who said he got 45MPH out of his 17' Mr. Pike with a 115 Yammy 4-stroke.
