Location: Minneapolis, MN | I am sick and tired of all the failures I've had with my power dirve. Its time to bite the bullet and go back to a cable drive. My boat is only setup for 24v. I would like to avoid adding a battery and a jumper cable to go to 36v because I will probably have to swap out my 3 bank charger for a 4 bank charger. If I don't swap out the charger I fear I would end up with a dead cranking battery one night after we fished a spot too long and drain it with lights and electronics.
My question is, is 24v Maxxum enough for a 620 in big water or do I really have to bite it and go to the 36v?
