I plan on buying my first boat next year and I have a few questions. I've been looking at a number of manufacturers and really like the Tuffy 1890. Since I am currently deployed overseas in the big sandbox I won't be able to actually do anything until I come home for leave in April. My questions are this:
1) When do the 2007 models become available to purchase?
2) Are there any major changes to the 1890 for 2007?
3) If I decide to put money down in April will most dealers hold the boat until August?
4) Can Tuffy boats be customized in any way or is what you see what you get??
I will probably have more questions in the future, but would appreciate any info anyone could provide. I am also looking at Ranger boats and if someone could give me any pros and cons of the Tuffy vs. Ranger, that would also be a great help. Buying a boat is going to be a new venture for me and I'm trying to make it as painless as possible. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
