| I'm with Jay on this one. I have a 1977 Chrysler 120hp that would be destroyed by any 90hp motor made today. Maybe even an 80hp? They did rate motors differently a while back.
I used to be President of the Roughrider Bass Club in Fargo, and a guy in my club bought an Allison Bass Boat that was made from PVC, Marine Resin?, and something else. No wood at all. It was very light, and he had a 200hp motor on it. He bought 150hp stickers though, and coincidently, won every race against people with 150-175hp motors. Nobody knew the better. I thought that was a sweet boat, but he traded it for a Triton two years later.
As far as the original post, I think the guy's trying to "hard-sell" you on this one. Good luck. | |
