You definately have a short somewhere. Are all the bulbs in. Seriously, had friend who pulled his whole harness out, only to find that one of the side marker bulbs was missing, and the socket shorted when there wasn't a bulb in it.

No way to tell where the short is with a meter. You may have to pull the harness as was mentioned for a visual inspection. I would first check all points where the harness goes throgh the walls of the trailer. Pull abit out, and look for nicks or rub spots.
