we could get together and hit the water in my 1760GT - i'm in south-central WI.
it's got basically the same interior as the 1700, slightly wider and slightly longer; rated for bigger motor is biggest difference.
anyway, it'd give you a good idea of the interior floor space: in the "cockpit" area of mine i've got 2 seats, a big frabill, an electronics box, and a full size Dunwright tackle box and have no problems even fishing 3 in the boat.
