I think the Yammy you mention is the T8 High Thrust. This is a motor designed for being a kicker, and more than likely for walleye types(<2.5 MPH). It is the only small HP motor available with power tilt and trim. Did you notice the size of the prop? It looks pretty large compared to a regular 8 HP prop. I think the gearing is also different. I doubt it would push a 620 up to 5-6. As a new product, I would bet they will come out with larger versions in the next year or two. Look for other brands to follow suit.
BTW, I saw a "show" price of $2995 for this motor, with a Panther steer, and some other stuff in Milwaukee last week. A little steep, me thinks.
