in my opinion a crew cab truck is by far and away the better choice over a suv. you get about the same amount of seating room, with the open bed. that means you can haul an atv, snowmobile etc. you can haul wet muddy waders after a day of duck hunting without having to smell them!! you can load up wet muddy dogs without having to smell them!! you can haul a deer without worrying about covering the carpet so you dont end up with bloodstains, and can then just hose out the bed when done. etc etc etc

put a quality topper with side access windows and it will do all a suv will do and soooooo much more!!
