Greybeard contacted me with questions about how the bed liner worked out for me, so i posted it for all to see.

I went with LineX in Green Bay, I can't say enough good things for the job they did for me and for only $800. My boat is fiberglass so I didn't have any screws to go over. I removed all the covers and latches, then put them all back on afterwards. I can't be more happy with the job they did on it. It is like a new boat. If it is dirty, I just take the garden hose to it. It does get a bit warm on real hot sunny days but so does carpet. I have been out in very wet conditions and it has a little less traction then carpeting, but still enough to be good even in 4 foot waves. It doesn't stay wet very long. I feel it added some strength. It is very tough. I wouldn't go with anything but LineX. Preping the surface is very important for adhesion. It took over a week to get it ready, grinding and scraping all the old carpet glue, filling in holes with fiberglass, modifying the drain, moving the front pedestal mount further towards the bow. It took a couple of full days to put it back together.

Last year I had Reynebeau's in Appleton make the custom bench seat.

It's almost like I have a new boat now.

Any other questions? Please feel free to contact me.
