Location: ontario canada - Well Anderson Indiana now | Hey guys, I have a '92 Johnson 120 v4. I've only taken the boat out 3 times and long story short the motor was running nicely but now it is idling pretty fast. I think that the cable is sticking because when first fired up it runs nicely but after putting into gear it will not lower back down to initial idle speed. The local boat dealer said it would take them 2 weeks to look at the boat, yes 2 weeks. Does anybody have any thoughts or suggestions? This is my first boat so any help would be greatly appreciated.
