Subject: tires (again)

Location: Athens, Ohio
Looks like I'll be getting at least two new tires for the Gambler's trailer (a Moonshine brand trailer from Kentucky, no less!). I currently have four ST 205 750 - 14's (load range C) that are Carlysles and one Goodyear ST 215 75- 14 as a spare.

I'd like to get new tires that are a bit less wide. I have little clearance within the wheel wells on the trailer, and due to the weight of the boat, the tires tend to bow in on top and out on the bottom, sometimes rubbing the inside top of the wheel well. I'm hoping a bit less width will give a bit more clearance.

What numbers on the tires determine width? What should I be looking for, any suggestions? thanks, m
