So it is safe to say that 8 footers do not fit in the bed of either truck? I only have to move the boat a few yards to launch it and go to CA twice a year so a v-8 is not neccessary for the most part. Plus parking in NYC a few inches can be important. If the rods won't fit in the tundra it is a pretty easy choice it seems..Ben

On the tacoma are you fitting your rods in a double cab or the extrended cab? Thanks, Ben
