I just thought I would let you know that Bulletproof Tackle is offering custom made rails. I have sold quite a few to guys looking for custom length, heavy-duty rails. They are made from solid 7/8" diameter aluminum and have solid welded aluminum ends. They can be made to any length and anodized any color. Built to last a lifetime. I have also been making some custom downrigger and rod holder mounting systems. If anybody has an idea for some custom accecories let me know. I might be able to help you out.
