Couple different points . . .

My last boat was a 618 with a 135 Opti and can tell you that the 618t is much, much drier and better for big water - granted you won't do 50 mph. I also can tell you that a 90 etec will not go any faster than 38, all the 90's are about the same. I run the Johnson/Suzuki 90 and can tell you that I come out of the hole better than the 90 etec.
