Honestly Jason I really don't think of the term hole shot when it comes to running a tiller. I used to own a 680t with a 60 evinscooter and my bro ran a lund with a 75 Merc, both boats topped at mid to upper 30mph and you crank that handle and they take off and plane out pretty quickly, the rangers have the fuel tank in the rear and the batteries are set up in back as well. With you being back there and all of that weight the hole shot is more of a quick plow to get on plane. They are all nice rigs bro, look around and find a nice 680 for less than 10 g's easy, and it will last you many years and when you do decide to sell it if you take care of it you will get back what you put into it or pretty darn close, that is not the case with alot of other boats that is the truth!!:)
