Subject: Tuffy 1700 Prop Choice

I have a Tuffy 1700 EDV tiller with a Merc 60 on the back. I've been running an 11P alum. prop for a few years and I'm not particularly happy with its performace. The prop is now fairly beat up, and I'm considering replacing it with something else instead of having it rebuilt. Any suggestions? What props do others who run 1700's use? I realize this boat is always going to be underpowered (only rated for 60hp, which isn't enough), but I'm barely getting 30mph on a good day and the hole shot is poor. Thanks!

John

Anyone say "screw the rating" and throw a 75 on the back of a 1700 yet? Seems like a great idea to me ... would be an awesome tiller rig.
