| No problem if it does hold them, just that the one dad measured, only held a rod to 7'2". It was an 06. Maybe he measured wrong. Glad to hear it will take 8'ers. You say both sides. There was only one true rod storage cmpartment in the one he checked on and a 'general' storage on the starboard side that he said would be good for extra pfd's, lights, etc. That is good to hear that the tubes hold 8'ers though, and he will be happy to hear it. I'll tell him to take a rod with him today to check them out.
That said, I think he is going to check out the Tuffys as well. That price does sound decent. I told him that I liked the layout of them myself, and would be looking at them next year when buying a new rig, and trying to get the best deal I can from them or Ranger. Dad is a suzuki guy now, so he will like that as well. | |
