I ran a fish/ski for a few years and here's my advise: Get a bigger boat then you think you'll need.

The problem with them is that the boat tries to please 2 masters and there's just not enough room to do both well in 18' IMOP. Of course it depends on what kinds of water you're going to be on.

I'd also check out the Tritons. They make a great boat and the quality is going to be better then the nitro.
