Subject: RE: minnkota chargers

I have had a 3 bank 30 amp Minnkota for about 2.5 years. I run the trolling motor (24V)and electric downriggers (one downrigger per battery 12V) off the 2 deep cycle batteries. I have put the batteries and the charger to the test on multiple occasions. With good results. I leave the starting battery on the 3rd connection so it is always topped off. The only problem I had was (which I don't think is the fault of the charger) is when I had a dead short in the starting battery and it showed "charged" on that bank. All in all, I like mine.
