I would highly recommend the Ram mounts, I have a very similar system as VMS. By using the Ram mounts you can adjust them very easy and also take the unit on and off for security purposes when traveling or just don't feel secure leaving electronics out in the open where people can easily access them and then come to find them gone! But like I said, I use the Ram mounts and I love them! I also agree with how VMS mounted his Vexilar on the port side because that way you don't have to move your head to look at the unit when its already straight down by your feet. Just my .02! |
