Two NEW questions for the panel....one...do those fins you attach to the cavitation plate really improve lift and performance? One company makes two models for even the smallest motors, and .....two.....Who stores their rig outdoors during the winter? My motor shopuld arrive this week but so too is some artic temperatures. I could leave it there til the weather breaks, but it is two hours away, and I need to go pay for it before the end of the month. Motor is 101 pounds. They will bolt it on for me. I really don't want to lug it to the basement. I want to bring the rig home. Motor is brand new. I would hope they wouldn't test it with the weather that is coming, should they store it in an unheated building till the thaw. Am I worrying for nothing? thanks, the boating newbie.
