Location: Elk River, Minnesota		I also wouldn't rule out that the transducer itself didn't go bad. I had that happen on a vexilar transducer one time...wouldn't read or "ping" anymore.

To start with, turn the unit on and go back and actually feel the transducer...you should be able to feel or maybe even hear it pinging.
