I just got a Garmin GPSMap60. Neat unit. Garmin will also let you download their updated software, so you stay current. My GPS hooks up to my puter via a USB cable, that came with it. Whatever brand you sttle with, you can buy an instructional video which walks you through everything. My buddy has a Magellin, and I borrowed it and the instructional video. His was nice too, but I forget which model.
