Mr. Worrell is right about keeping them clean for sure.

After I get done using my boat, I unplug the foot control and store it away from dirt and grime that can get into it during storage or while you are driving down the road.

Tapping it on the carpet will also help keep it clean.

I also usually try and blow out any grass, weeds, sand, etc.... that is in there at the end of the day.

Keep them clean and dry and you'll be able to keep them working longer!!
